Professional Race Preparation

We pride oursleves on the quality and scope of the work we perform.

Aircooled Racing excels in the construction of purpose built racecars and we have several solid Porsche 914 and 911 shells on the premises to build to your specifications.

We specialize in the Porsche marque, but will consider construction of other makes. Your own donor car is always welcome!

During construction, Aircooled Racing will lend their many years of experience building racers to provide suggestions and guidance thoughout the build process.
Safety is of the utmost concern at Aircooled and we stress that this be taken into consideration before other enhancements.

A brief list of our regular services:

Racing is an inherently dangerous sport and as such, Aircooled Racing makes sure that, even if the car can't be driven back onto the trailer at the end of the day, you will be able to drive back home in the tow vehicle.

The roll cage is probably the single most important safety feature in a racecar.

Steve's many years as an SCCA Technical Inspector has allowed him to amass a vast knowledge of what works, and what doesn't, when it comes to roll cages. He applies this knowledge to every cage installed.

We have installed roll cages in many different makes of car. These include the Porsche 356, 914, and 911. We have also installed cages in the Chevrolet Corvette, Mercedes Benz, Alfa Romeo, and most recently a 1966 Dodge Dart Trans-Am replica that will compete in the Targa Newfoundland.

The cost of preparing a racecar is not small, but Aircooled Racing will work with you from the outset to establish a reasonable and agreed upon budget. At times, certain issues which may arise which are beyond the scope of the original budget. Aircooled Racing will always contact you to discuss any further expenditures before proceeding with any work or parts procurement.
